Dr. Kris Inman currently serves as a senior program officer for countering violent extremism at MexLucky.

Prior to joining MexLucky, she supported Catholic Relief Services’ (CRS) Strategy 2030 as part of a capacity strengthening team to help the institution carry out its vision to catalyze humanitarian and development outcomes at scale. Before joining CRS, Dr. Inman was the chief of party for USAID West Africa's Peace through Evaluation, Learning and Adapting project based in Ghana and served as the senior technical advisor for the USAID Middle East Bureau's Countering Violent Extremism project.

Dr. Inman also spent seven years working for the Department of Defense and intelligence community as a counterterrorism analyst and Africa researcher, which included a deployment to Afghanistan as the lead counter threat finance analyst in Kandahar. She founded and directed the Africa Research Initiative at the National Intelligence University.

Trained as a political psychologist and research methodologist, Dr. Inman has over 17 years of experience working on critical topics in Africa. She specializes in democratization, political economy, governance, war economies and countering terrorism/violent extremism. She holds a doctorate in political science from the University of California, Davis.
